Schools & Academies Show Birmingham

We are pleased to be partnering with the Schools & Academies Show Birmingham, taking place at the NEC on the 18th and 19th November 2026. On Day 2, FED will host the FED Stage and bring the National Education Assembly to the show.

Across five sessions, education leaders and practitioners will examine the decisions that will shape the future of our system and consider what those decisions mean in practice for trusts, schools and colleges.

The programme will explore:

• the future of education funding and how leaders can protect quality, inclusion and opportunity in a constrained financial climate;
• whether SEND and inclusion reform can be delivered in everyday practice;
• how accountability, inspection and performance measures can support improvement without driving unnecessary compliance;
• whether national reform survives contact with the realities of teaching, learning and leadership; and
• how assessment can better support learning, progression and the knowledge, skills and attributes young people need for the future.

The Schools & Academies Show brings together more than 4,000 school and trust leaders, over 300 speakers and 250 education solution providers. It offers a valuable opportunity to connect national debate with the decisions leaders are making across the education system.
