Membership Benefits

The NEA is a neutral and independent organisation - the only education body that has no vested interests and is focused solely on improving education systems for the benefit of children, young people, and lifelong learners. Members of FED share this mission and passion.

Membership is based on the original meaning of the word ‘affiliate’ and means that you would belong to a group. NEA membership promotes belonging and inclusion and encourages all stakeholders and education bodies to become part of the collective work.

The National Education Assembly Affiliate Membership	Shape national education policy: Have a meaningful input into policy, practice, and strategy. Engage with key stakeholders: Meet four times a year, both in person and remotely, to discuss impactful issues. Influence government decisions: Provide objective feedback to the government and institutions. Stay informed: Receive an annual report on the current state of the education system. Invites to 2 NEA online meetings as well as access via 40 ballot entries to win the chance to attend 2 in person NEA meetings per year as well.
National Education Futures Projects (affiliate)	Lead innovative projects: Participate in forward-thinking initiatives that shape the future of education. Access to all National Education Futures Projects via FED Councils and FED Region Group meetings.
FED National Reception Events	Network with leaders: Attend exclusive events to connect with influential education stakeholders. Access via open application to attend.
FED Annual National Education Summit	Showcase your organisation: Participate in the summit to highlight your contributions to education. Individual membership includes subsidised ticket access.
Educational Research projects	Gain insights: Access to bespoke and individually agreed educational research projects. Gain insights: Access to all FED Educational Research Projects for individual membership, with access for all employees for full organisation members.
National Education Assembly App	Stay connected: Use the app to engage with hundreds of thousands of stakeholders. Influence policy: Provide input on education policy, practice, and strategy weekly. Professional development: Access timely and agile development opportunities. Full organisation membership provides daily NEA App access for all employees – the ‘affiliate account’.
FEDLearn	Enhance your skills: Receive specific professional development based on NEA data monthly. Learn from best practice: Understand the latest developments. Full organisational membership providing daily affiliate account access for all employees
FED Newsletter Access	Access to weekly FED Newsletters for individual members, and for organisational members access to weekly FED Newsletters for all employees.
FED National Council Meetings	Termly council meetings give access to all the FED’s work and provide network and sharing of best practice opportunities.
FED Regions Groups	FED operates FEDNorth, FEDMidlands and FEDSouth and hosts 3 meetings for each Region Group per year. These groups provide regional NEA input and regional network and sharing of best practice opportunities.
