Introduction

The Foundation for Education Development (FED) exists to support long-term planning in education systems to ensure every learner, regardless of their background, receives the best possible education at every stage of their journey. We believe that the foundations of an education system should be built on a cross-sector approach that benefits children, young people, and lifelong learners, contributing to the future prosperity of countries.

We are an established neutral and independent organisation, acting as the national and international body for long-term planning in education. We convene, curate and amplify a fully inclusive stakeholder voice to inform national education policy, practice, and strategy.

The FED is a Community Interest Company with an attached charity. As a not-for-profit organisation, we aim to positively impact society. We have become the network of education networks.
